Racial Equity Action Plan
The Exempt Staff Council has developed a racial equity action plan, helping to ensure our actions (the actions of individual staff/departments/groups) do not perpetuate a system of advantages based on race.
Exempt Staff Council
We are members of Trinity's exempt staff elected to represent the staff voice within the shared governance of the College.
There are currently 10 members on the council from all major divisions on campus. We meet bimonthly to discuss current initiatives relevant to staff interests. Exempt Staff Council ensures proper representation to various organizational committees such as the Planning and Budget Council, Benefits Committee, and the Facilities Committee.
Staff Ombudspersons
The Staff Ombuds Policy ensures that staff have a neutral, independent, confidential and informal resource who provides assistance in identifying options for addressing and/or resolving workplace employment-related issues and conflicts. Our current Ombuds are Curtis Gamble, access control and card services manager, and Marcia Phelan Johnson, budget director.
